I conduct research on IoT security, adversarial machine learning, and AI-IoT integration. My objectives are to safeguard IoT systems against vulnerabilities, make machine-learning algorithms robust to adversarial and/or unreliable inputs, and develop innovative AIoT applications that are of profound economic and societal impact. I earned my Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the National University of Singapore. Prior to joining Missouri S&T in 2019, I was a Scientist and Program Lead at A*STAR. I am an IEEE Senior Member and an AAAI Member. I am also an Investigator affiliated with the Intelligent Systems Center (ISC) and the Center for Intelligent Infrastructure (CII).
