Groundwater resources, remote sensing, airborne and ground-based geophysics, physics-based modeling and machine learning.
I study groundwater resources using satellite and airborne/ground-based geophysical datasets--primarily interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) and electromagnetic (EM) data--as well as in-situ hydrologic data. By integrating these datasets into groundwater models, and analyzing spatial relationships with machine learning methods, we are able to quantify changes in groundwater storage and quality.
