Biography

Dr. Baker is an assistant professor of psychological science at Missouri University of Science and Technology (S&T). She teaches human factors courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level and runs the PsyTE Lab (Psychology, Technology, and Engineering Lab). Her research focuses on understanding how cognitive and social psychology can inform the design, application, and infrastructure of technological systems. Baker’s overarching goal in teaching, research, and service is to substantively integrate psychological science with engineering science to encourage human-centered, value-driven science and technology development.
