Dr. Baker is an assistant professor of psychological science at Missouri University of Science and Technology (S&T). She teaches human factors courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level and runs the PsyTE Lab (Psychology, Technology, and Engineering Lab). Her research focuses on understanding how cognitive and social psychology can inform and be informed by the design, application, and infrastructure of technological systems. Baker’s overarching goals in teaching, research, and service are to substantively integrated psychological science with engineering science to encourage human-centered, value-driven science and technology development.
