Research interests

The broader theme of my research is "Psychology, Technology, and Society, " with a specific focus on investigating biases in decision making associated with public perceptions of science and technology. My present research explores the use of biosensors in smart systems technologies and how these systems impact human decision making, behavior, and attitudes. I approach this work from both an experimental framework and an ethics framework grounded in public policy. The research being conducted in my lab is specifically relevant within domains such as Human Factors Engineering; Social & Cognitive Psychology, Engineering Management, and Computer Engineering.
